On June 14, Alan Jackson is to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame. This is a major moment for Alan’s career. In fact, Alan was just inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame. Other inductees from all walks of music include Dolly Parton, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, and many more.

With over 60 million albums sold world-wide, ranked as one of the top 10 best-selling male vocalists of all time, 50 Top 10 hits, 35 #1’s, Alan is more than deserving of this award.

“I started writing because somebody told me I needed some original material. I’d never even thought about writing or studied songwriting,” Jackson recalls. “There are different aspects of your career, and they all bring different rewards and feelings…but the songwriting is very fulfilling,” the humble Georgian has said. “Songwriting is definitely the most creative part.”
