Let’s Increase Our Value With Each Other

My Daddy tried to teach me that if someone is kind enough to trust you with a tool/possession that you need to borrow; make sure you return it in better shape than it was in when you got it if you can.

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Ephesians 4:31-32

The same thing is true about someone trusting you with their heart. If you receive love and trust enough from somebody that they will be honest about their pain and hurt, or joy and comfort… you should do your best to return that heart in better shape than it was in when it was shared. And when you share your heart, if they’re doing the same, appreciation occurs. (Values increase.)

Always remember, it wasn’t your heart to begin with. It ultimately belongs to God. And you surely don’t want to risk the deposit God paid on something that valuable.
