MISSION:POSSIBLE Turkey Fry & Concert
Written by Sean on November 15, 2018
Country music sensation Tracy Lawrence will once again be gathering at the 13th Annual MISSION:POSSIBLE Turkey Fry at the Nashville Rescue Mission on November 20th. For the last 13 years, country music stars, and folks in the entertainment industry have contributed to serving over 500 turkeys each year including full meals to feed men, women, and children at the mission. Stars include Eric Paslay, Doug McCormick, and more. In addition to food being served, this outreach also receives monetary donations, clothes, and other items.
This all started with me and some of my buddies who just wanted to get together and do something for the Mission. We never expected it to turn into this. We got a handful of fryers and turkeys, and went down there to cook and donated our time to help our community. Giving back is something that is very important to me. The growth of this event has been amazing to watch -Tracy Lawrence
