Our Top 3 Famous Country Music Covers

I know, I know the original is always the best! Come on we say that about movies. When there’s 3 movies or 4 the first one is just done the best (like Pirates of the Caribbean). Well honestly I like the one with Davy Jones, but anyways songs that get redone or covers, arn’t always what artists hoped for. But these 3 songs I believe do them good, because not only did they get famous, they honestly may be better than the originals.

#3 ” I Saw The Light” Crowder | Original by Hank Williams (below)

So we start out with Contemporary meets old school. The classic Hank Williams meets a lively 21st century style.

#2 ” When You Say Nothing At All” Alison Krauss | Originally done by Keith Whitley (below)

Ok so if you grew up hearing this song in the 80’s, then you have Keith’s version in your head, but I grew up in the 90’s and got Alison’s in mine. Check out her cover.

#1 “Three Wooden Crosses” Josh Turner cover | Original by Randy Travis (below)

This one is hard, because I love Randy Travis’s one and it will forever be the one I have memorized, but Josh Turner man! He blew it out singing it too.
