Peace In Gods Presence

Written by on May 6, 2021

It may be that if we can’t find the peace that passeth all understanding, we should begin the search by seeking an understanding that brings peace. Sometimes the longest and hardest distance to get something moved is the roughly 12 inches between the brain and the heart. If the two aren’t in agreement, peace is difficult. An understanding of God’s will, Christ’s love, and the Spirit’s guidance, all put into practice in our living most often lead to an internal peace that can’t be shaken by external circumstances.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 4: 6-7

Because the understanding that Christ will never abandon us, coupled with the felt presence of God in us, bring hope and comfort… Peace. Get it?
