Time... we all want it.
Sometimes it seems to go slow, and sometimes it is fleeting.
As we move into the holiday season, I am reminded about time. It seems to slow down a bit around this time, and I think that is because we spend more time indoors and at home.
As we gather during this time, I will, for sure, do my best to soak it all in. We talked on the show about Mary and Martha, and I know DJ Susan wrote a blog about it. But this time of year, we can really focus so much on the details that we forget to seek Jesus. Well, until Christmas, then we do a lot of seeking and thinking about Jesus.
As you go through this season lets take time to reflect back on the traditions, good things and times we had when I was younger and with my family. Do you incorporate some of those things now?
For me this time of year I always remember all the traditions we had with my grandparents. I do my best to keep those going with my kids and family. Of course there are somethings we have made our own. But I like to remember the tradition.
The holiday season is a way to look back on the year, to look at the present, and to think about the future. And when we do that, let's remember to allow the Lord to lead, guide, and show us what it is He wants us to see.
2 Corinthians 9:11 - Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God.
