Being a Vessel for God

Isaiah 42:6 - I the Lord have made you the vessel of my purpose, I have taken you by the hand, and kept you safe, and I have given you to be an agreement to the people, and a light to the nations.

A human vessel is someone who is willing to be used by God for whatever purpose He has in mind. A human vessel is someone who is completely open to God's will no matter the cost.

2 Timothy 2:21 - If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your like will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.

"Today pray before you think. Pray before you speak. Pray before you act."

Colossians 3:17 - And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.

You can be used by God in many ways.... are you willing?

Being willing may seem small but it is a big step. When our hearts and minds are willing and open to what God has for us to do to further His Kingdom, then we can faithfully and confidently walk the path the Lord has laid a head of us.

Ask God today how you can be a vessel for him.

Is there someone to whom you could listen to?

Is there someone to whom you can pray for?

Can you help someone today in any way?

To be willing to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to just love as God teaches us to love is a way for us to be a willing vessel.
