Faith

Hebrews 11:1 - Faith shows the reality of what we hope fore, it is the evidence of things we cannot see.

Faith is belief that is not based on proof.

If our humanness we seek proof. We can see that when looking to buy things online and we go read reviews for proof. We seek proof of someone's character upon meeting them, to make sure we know they could be someone we can connect with, have confidence in and are trust worthy.

We question and seek proof and I don't think there is anything wrong with that....well depending on what and how we are questioning. We can question God, but in what way are you questioning him? In the Bible many times the prophets in the Old Testament would go and complain to God but they would always end with....But Lord, you are the One True God and I will do and convey what it is You want me to. They had faith knowing that God knew what was best.

There are so many stories of faith in the Bible...Moses, Noah, Daniel, Peter, Paul....the list just goes on and on. There is one story where a women who has been bleeding for 12 years hears about Jesus and she knows all she has to do is find fine Jesus and touch Him. What great faith that is! Just a touch and she knew, she had faith she would be healed.

Though I haven't had anything like that happen to me, there have been times in my life of uncertainty and the only thing I could do was to stand firmly on my faith and know God would see me through.

God in the most certain and unwavering in the unseen and unknown. HE IS THE KNOWN.

Galatians 5:22-23 - But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

God is our source for all of these. He gifts us with these attributes of His character. We can put our faith in God and have faith in God knowing that He can and will provide what He see's fit is best for us. Faith in God means knowing He has our best interest and knows what is best for us.
