It's Monday and we all need encouragement for the week

It's Monday and we all need encouragement for the week. we also need to be One that give encouragement to those who need it! It's not just a matter of a nice thing to do, it actually changes people's brains and their outlook.

Encouragement solidifies and reinforces that "doing the right thing" - especially in difficult situations - is what matters most. Encouragement lets people know they're on the right track, and helps them to maintain positive, ethical and productive work habits.

God offers encouragement to us through His Word... in Philippians 4:6-7 we're encouraged with....

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Plus, when we are encouraging someone else, we, ourselves, are encouraged too and it enlivens OUR brain to move forward with positive thoughts. So, don't lament about it being Monday....make it Encouragement Day for the people around you and for yourself. Find honest ways to encourage, congratulate, show gratitude for what they do and who they are.

Remember John 16:33

" In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Think about maybe sending a note to someone in a card, a sticky note left on their computer or on their car window....maybe a small gift "just because" Because it's Monday and we all need encouragement for the week!
